Marit Joffe Milstein, M.A.
Marit is a Group Analyst, Supervisor and Training Psychodramatist.
Former chair and staff member of the Israeli Institute of Group Analysis, IIGA.
She works in her private practice with Expressive Art Therapy with Individuals, Families and Groups, and uses her past experience in music and theatre.
Marit works at Shiba Hospital at the Children’s and Adolescent’s Department for Eating Disorders, and has been co-conducting a monthly ongoing Large Group in Mazor Psychiatric Hospital for many years. She works as a supervisor in various Health and Educational Organizations.
Marit Co-chaired the 2nd and 3rd Israeli IIGA International Workshop in Gonen, 2013, 2016. She is one of the organizers of the ongoing German Israeli Dialogue conferences “Voices After Auschwitz”.
In her role as IIGA Chair, she initiated and was part of many projects for the benefit of conflict resolution in different communities in Israel. Marit is now the chair of the GASi Online Communication Committee and chair of the Summer School sub committee.

Christine Christie, M.Med.Sc., M.Sc.
Christine is a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, Group Analyst, Supervisor and UK Balint Leader in private practice in Belfast, in the North of Ireland, and also taught on the Counselling and Psychotherapy training at Queens University Belfast from Introductory to Masters level for many years.
She has served on a number of committees, including the Northern Ireland Institute of Human Relations, the Events Committee of the Irish Group Analytic Society, and the local team that organises Balint weekends in Belfast.
Christine is co-chair of the Summer School sub committee.

Bessy Karagianni
Bessy graduated as a clinical psychologist from the University of Nancy, France. Trained in Group Analysis (I.G.A. Athens) since 2004 and in Psychological Assessment (Institute of Diagnostic Psychology, O.P.C.), she conducts individual sessions and groups in the IGAA, as well as in her private practice. She also trained in EMDR Trauma Therapy.
She has served as staff member in 4 out of 5 GASI Summer Schools. She is a member of the Board of the Association of Greek Psychologists since 2007.

Sanja Janović
Sanja is a Psychiatrist, training Group Analyst, training Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, member of the Croatian Institute for Group Analysis, and the Croatian Institute for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
Trained in Group Analysis since 1998, Sanja runs a Therapeutic Community.

Francesca Giueseppina Bascialla
Francesca graduated as a medical doctor from the University Statale of Milan, Italy. She trained as psychiatrist at the 3rd Department of Psychiatry of the Aristotle University Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece. She received the Doctorate in Medical Sciences at the same university, School of Medicine. After her training and graduation at the IGA Athens (IGAA) from 1997-2004, she was responsible for the Introductory Course and other scientific activities of the IGAA in Thessaloniki.
As a psychiatrist she had a contract with the NHS until 2012. She is working in private practice from 2000 until now. As Scientific collaborator of the 1th Department of Psychiatry of AUTh, her activities consist of group psychotherapy with in-patients, research activities, lectures, and reflective practice group in the 2nd Neonatal Intensive Unit Care of AUTh.
In cooperation with international colleagues, she organised the first Reflective Citizens-Koinonia workshop in Thessaloniki. She has served as staff member in the 3rd GASI Summer School in Athens. Since 2020, she has the role of GASi Honorary Secretary.

Andrew Mallett
Andrew is a group analyst and psychotherapist from the UK, currently working at King’s College London and in private practice. Prior to training at the Institute of Group Analysis (London) he worked independently as a facilitator in organisations providing training and coaching in management and leadership skills.
He was also a professional actor for ten years and is interested in the idea of aesthetic experience in groups.

David Glyn
David has practised as a Group Analytic Psychotherapist for 30 years, working as a therapist, supervisor and as a trainer. He is the current President of GASi.

Sheena Eustace
Sheena is a practising psychoanalytic psychotherapist and a group analyst. For more than 30 years, she has been working with couples, individuals and groups. She has been in private practice since 2002.
She is the founding director and currently clinical director of Donnybrook Centre Plus Blackrock, two centres providing psychotherapy services and situated in south Dublin. Sheena offers supervision to psychoanalytic psychotherapists and group psychotherapists in one to one and group settings. She is also a Training Group Analyst with the Irish Group Analytic Society.
Sheena was the Chairperson of IGAS from 2019-2021 and maintains a keen interest in developing Group Analytic thinking in Ireland.

Cariosa Walsh
Caríosa Walsh is an individual psychoanaytic psychotherapist, group analyst and training group analyst working in the Irish National Health Service (HSE). She specialises in working with Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse and trauma. She delivers individual and group analytic therapy in her daily work and provides clinical supervision and case management to other therapists and trainees working therapeutically with adults. Previous to this role, she managed a community service for many years which specialised in the area of family support and child protection and welfare. This service provided individual and group interventions and supports to children, adolescents, adults and other services in the community – with the aim of enhancing the quality of life of disadvantaged children and their families.

Teresa Mason
Teresa Mason is an Irish occupational therapist and group analyst based in Co. Tipperary. She has worked in mental health services, mental health promotion and primary care. She is completing a PhD at Limerick school of art and design, Technological university of the Shannon.

Brendan Thornton
Brendan Thornton is a practising group analytic psychotherapist in private practice, a member of the Irish Group Analytic Society and the Irish Council for Psychotherapy. He also works as an organisational and project management consultant. He has served on a number of committees, including the Irish Group Analytic Society Committee and the Events Committee of the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organisations (ISPSO)
